StruxHub Secures $4 Million to Transform Construction Site Coordination and Maximize Efficiency Across Projects

San Francisco, Calif. – StruxHub, a purpose-built construction operations platform designed to streamline logistics, safety, and quality workflows for general contractors, specialty trades, and suppliers, today announced the successful closure of its $4 million Seed funding round. The round was led by Brick & Mortar Ventures, with participation from FJ Labs, Holcim, and notable angel investors.

Having spun out from Holcim in 2023, StruxHub plans to leverage this funding to expand its reach across North America and select international regions, accelerate product innovation, and grow its passionate team dedicated to transforming construction operations.

A Field-First Platform Designed for Real Construction Jobsite Challenges

Despite advancements in construction technology, Superintendents and field teams still rely heavily on whiteboards, spreadsheets, and phone calls to manage complex construction workflows. Existing tools often focus on documentation rather than providing actionable support for on-site execution.

“Despite all the investments in construction tech, Superintendents and their field teams still rely heavily on a disjointed mix of whiteboards, spreadsheets, and phone calls to coordinate construction activities,” said Jeff Chen, CEO and Co-founder at StruxHub.

“When they do deploy tech solutions, field teams are often frustrated with tools that focus on documentation and data entry rather than directly helping teams do their core job—building. StruxHub aims to rewrite this narrative.”

StruxHub offers a field-first approach that prioritizes real-world jobsite needs, ensuring teams can focus on execution rather than administrative bottlenecks.

Proven Success on North America’s Largest Construction Projects

StruxHub was born from real-world construction site insights, with Co-founder Jeff Chen spending over a year walking jobsites and engaging directly with construction professionals.

Today, 7 of North America’s top 20 general contractors trust StruxHub to manage workflows on projects ranging from hospitals and data centers to large-scale solar farms.

Key Results in Construction Delivery with StruxHub Include:

  • An 83% reduction in delivery coordination time on a two-tower high-rise project compared to a control site.
  • Significant improvements in trade accountability and on-site collaboration.
  • Increased focus on core construction tasks, reducing administrative overhead for Superintendents and site managers.

“It is so much simpler to manage when everyone is on the same page. StruxHub allows Superintendents to stay in the building and focus on construction.”Superintendent, Axiom Builders

Investor Confidence in StruxHub’s Bold Vision

The successful funding round reflects strong investor confidence in StruxHub’s leadership and vision.

“We’ve looked at a number of companies trying to build tools for the field – many are great point solutions, but have scaling challenges. The uniqueness of StruxHub is that they’ve brought together a leadership team that truly understands the collaboration frustrations from the field’s perspective. They are building a comprehensive construction operations platform, designed to integrate all types of jobsite data through a geolocated mapping interface,” said Alice Leung, Vice President at Brick & Mortar Ventures.

This endorsement underscores StruxHub’s unique approach to tackling field coordination challenges at scale.

A Roadmap for the Future: Expanding Reach and Innovation

StruxHub’s immediate priorities include:

  • Expanding its North American footprint and entering strategic international markets.
  • Enhancing product capabilities to support diverse construction project types.
  • Scaling the platform’s AI-driven insights for smarter resource allocation and predictive analytics.

Long-term, StruxHub aims to bridge the fragmented construction supply chain through:

  • Geolocated Mapping Interfaces for real-time resource visibility.
  • Configurable Workflows adaptable to varying project needs.
  • A Unified Data Model connecting every layer of construction operations.

“We believe the combination of geolocated maps, configurable workflows, and a unified data model around workflows and resources will help connect the fragmented construction supply chain,” said Chris Schmidt, Chief Product Officer and Co-founder at StruxHub.

A Platform Built by Construction Experts, for Construction Experts

StruxHub’s leadership team brings a wealth of hands-on industry experience, with leaders like Chekota Newhart (Chief Customer Officer), a former Superintendent at Turner Construction, driving customer-focused strategies.

“I joined StruxHub because I didn’t want to just build another building; I want to make a lasting impact on the industry,” said Chekota Newhart, Co-founder at StruxHub.

This deep-rooted industry expertise ensures StruxHub remains laser-focused on solving real jobsite challenges.
